MUSIC REVIEW - OVER THE RAINBOW

MUSIC REVIEW

Tittle : Over The Rainbow
Length : 00:03:39
Album : Over The Rainbow
Original Artist : Judy Garland
Year : 1939
Music By : Harold Arlen
Lyrics By : E.Y. Harburg
Introduced by Judy Garland in the film The Wizard of Oz, 1939. This song also became The Wizard of Oz (soundtrack album) on 1956 and The Wizard of Oz (soundtrack album) on 1962. It also released on CDs:
The Wizard of Oz (CBS/Sony soundtrack), 1989The Hollywood Years, 1994The Wizard of Oz (Rhino deluxe soundtrack), 1995The Wizard of Oz (Rhino soundtrack), 1995That's Entertainment! (MGM soundtrack anthology), 1995
(and many, many more)
It Won Best Song Academy Award for 1939. Film excerpt of Judy's rendition on "Command performance" included on laser disc set Judy Garland: The Golden Years at M-G-M, 1994 recorded by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra Recorded by Bob Crosby and His Orchestra Recorded and performed many, many times by Judy Garland (her signature song)
This song showed how Judy (as dorothy on The Wizard of Oz) helplessly awaiting death as the witch's hourglass ran out while she was locked in a room in the witch's castle, Dorothy weeps her way through it, unable to finish, concluding with a tear-filled, "I'm frightened, Auntie Em – I'm frightened!" This phrase was retained in the film and is followed immediately by Aunt Em's brief appearance in the witch's crystal, where she is soon replaced by the visage of the witch, mocking and taunting Dorothy before turning toward the camera to cackle.
The song was really made me motivated to reach my dreams higher and higher. Don’t be afraid just because If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow..then Why, oh why can't I? There’s still stand a lot of possibilities.

want to hear the song?

MOVIE REVIEW
Tittle : PULSE 2 “ Afterlife”
Genre : Horror
Written and Directed by : Joel Soisson
Produced by : Michael Leathy
Starring : Jamie Bamber (as Stephen), Georgina Rylance (as Michelle), Karley Scott Collins (as Justine), Boti Bliss (as Marta), Todd Giebenhain (as Man in Red).

Pulse 2 “Afterlife” is a straight-to-DVD sequel to 2006 film Pulse “Afterlife and Invasion”. This time Pulse 2 served different story that doesn’t have any relation to the first story, Pulse (2006). But it’s main problem still the same, Wireless Internet Ghost. On this Home Video movie, it have a plot where Stephen (Jamie Bamber) and his little daughter, Justine (Karley Scott Collins) survived in a dead town which full with the wireless ghosts. They try to avoid their ex-wife and mom, Michelle (Georgina Rylance) who want to take Justine from him. Michelle has turned to be a wireless internet ghost and she tried to take justine away from Stephen and bring it with her. And it means that Justine will dead if she come with or even touch her mom.
Stephen have a cabin that quiet far away from the city, he arrived with justine there and soon Stephen’s girlfriend named Marta (Boti Bliss) came, she also tried to survived from the ghosts. Marta was killed by Michelle when Stephen and Justine tried to escape.

Next, Stephen and Justine were forced by a Man in Red (Todd Giebenhain). He have a plan to save the world from the ghosts by using a processor. And he wanted Stephen to take the Processor on the Electric Supply Center at the town, after he got it then the Man went away and gave Stephen a red tape to keep them safe from the ghosts. And Stephen keep driving again, finding a safe place.

Stephen got an information about refugee from a man on the gasoline, so he have a plan to safe his daughter by going to that refugee where it is a secure location outside existing cellular coverage zones. Out of fuel, they stopped in the middle of the road and waited for some help that maybe will come soon. Before they went to sleep on the car, they covered it withe the red tapes. On the middle of the night, justine was out from the car. Stephen hurriedly find her, afraid if she will meet with her mom. Fortunately he saved justine on the time and went back to the car.
The next morning, found a Bus destined to the refugee. They went off and ran straight to the bus. But Michelle appeared when they’re almost reach it. Stephen accosted Michelle and asked her to not take Justine. Stephen sacrificed himself to Michelle, said that if she did not want to be lonely, she should take him and not their daughter. As she was about to touch his face, she back off and disappeared with a smile. Stephen is relieved and thanks her. But Finally, Marta's ghost attacked him and took his soul. Marta then back off and Michelle had shown standing there smiling. Justine is safely in the bus with other refugees and escaped unscathed.
This horror movie was pretty good and really entertaining, a mix up that was served neatly where the end of the story is hard to be guessed. But because the movie contains some violent and gore scenes, so it would be better to watch only by adults or teenagers that already 18 years old. This horror movie is really different than the usuall horror movies. Totally recomended.

Finished.
